The Bridge over the Atlantic
Next we headed down the Campbelltown road and crossed the Bridge over the Atlantic before stopping at the small and homely pub on the other side of the bridge for refreshments.   The locals in the pub and the landlady made our party most welcome (including Oscar the dog) and we were really starting to get into the Christmas spirit there but again the shortened daylight hours beat us and we decided to return to the lodge to prepare dinner.

So Christmas Day arrived, presents were exchanged, Christmas dinner consumed and we reflected on the wonderful experience of Christmas spent in another lovely part of Scotland.   It wont go away, so why not try it next year?  Oscar (below) enjoyed it including his presents and we enjoyed the whole experience including the freshness of the air and frost effects on the trees. Thank you Loch Awe for a great holiday.
